This business is a gem in the community that provides a much needed service. Without your support they will eventually go away, like so many others.
They have everything you can imagine that you would find in a harware store, plus a lot of things that you probably haven't seen in a long time. Shopping there is like walking into a time capsule!
The staff is super friendly and always helpful. You can actually just hand them a list, and they will retrieve all of the items for you. This type of customer service is unheard of today.
Next time you need supplies for a project, or just need a rake or water hose, go by and see Marcus or Chip at Oswalt's, and bring your children too. Show them what REAL customer service is and maybe Oswalt's will be around for another hundred years.
This is a great family owed business that has been in the same location for almost a hundred years.
It reminds me of the way businesses use to be when I was a child, fifty years ago, long before Lowe's shut down the Mom and Pop stores.
